Hello Everyone,  

 

Below are some further details and answers to questions we often get asked.  

 

What show are these auditions for?

These are general auditions for Pearson Casting.  This is a chance for us to meet unrepresented talent for all our projects casting through 2026

​

MORNING DANCER CALL

The routine will be a VERY technical jazz routine to show us your dance ability.  If you're not a highly skilled dancer, this is not the audition for you.  We may ask you some dancers to tape some vocals for us if you don’t already have a vocal reel

 

AFTERNOON SINGER CALL

We are looking for leading vocals.  If you feel you are more of a dancer who sings confidently in an ensemble, this is not the audition for you

 

Can you offer me representation?

We are not an agency, so we’re not looking to represent you.  We’re casting directors holding a general open audition for professional dancers and musical theatre performers who are unrepresented

 

How old do I have to be?

You must be over 18 at the time of auditioning

Accessibility

Unfortunately we were unable to find a studio for this date that had wheelchair access, be large enough to hold a dance call and be within our budget.  We will be looking to hold more of these auditions through the year, and will make sure that one of the sessions is accessible.

What happens if all the slots are taken?

There are very limited places, once they’re gone they’re gone.  If you want to write to openaudition@pearsoncasting.com to join the waiting list, then we can add you if space becomes available.  We are not able to reply to people who write in.  Please add your CV, headshot and any showreel you may have when you write in

 

Can I send in a self-tape?

We can not accept self-tapes in place of meeting with us on the 17th

 

Booking in.

Please follow the booking instructions.  If you book in and you have an agent, we will have to cancel your audition.  If you choose to change your time, please make sure you use the reschedule button in your confirmation email, don’t just book yourself in again; this will mean you will be booked in twice and we may end up deleting both bookings.

I can't make the dance call in the morning/singer call in the afternoon - can I come and sing in the morning or dance in the afternoon?

I'm afraid we only have the capacity to see dancers in the morning and singers in the afternoon
