ONGOING CASTING

Lavelles The Ladies Of Motown is an exciting, smooth, slick homage to the golden era of America's soulful vocal stylists. Comprising of three fabulous performers, the Lavelles bring the authentic and timeless sounds of The Supremes, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas and many more in this fully staged floor show.  The show is also being planned to appear as a theatre show, in concert, for international guest cruising, holiday parks, music festivals and for corporate and private parties.

 

Lavelles The Ladies Of Motown is produced, staged and directed by Christian Gibson at Performance Hub International. Performance Hub International formed in 2018 and is a collective of superb creative talent, providing a range of high-quality vocal entertainment to theatres, concerts, cruise lines, holiday parks, corporate functions and private parties.

We are looking for performers who can replicate the look and sound of groups like The Supremes, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas & The Marvelettes.

Performance salary: £150 per show

Non-drivers - An additional £25 to the artist to get from home to a pick up point to join the designated driver. This fee will also cover the return drop off point to get back home. For designated drivers: A £25 bonus will be paid.

A designated team leader will receive an additional £25 to take any sound check/staging rehearsal at the venue.

 

Accomodation: All accommodation will be covered. Subject to availability this will comprise of either 2 rooms (one single and one twin room) or one large family room such as a Travelodge. Breakfast will be included.

Petrol Petrol for drivers will be covered at 0.25 pence per mile.

SEEKING:   Voice 1 - Lavelles (Female, 21–40 years)
Soprano with some low notes. Vocal range G3-Bb5
Black/Mixed race/Black African American
Appearance- The Supremes, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas, The Marvelettes.
Very strong vocals, strong personality and command of the stage as a soloist. 
Needs to be able to harmonise and gel vocally within the group.
Needs to be a strong mover and pick up the style of the era.
Driving an advantage.
 

Voice 2 - Lavelles (Female, 21–40 years)

Mezzo. Vocal range G3-F5
Black/Mixed race/Black African American
Appearance- The Supremes, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas, The Marvelettes.
Very strong vocals, strong personality and command of the stage as a soloist. 
Needs to be able to harmonise and gel vocally within the group.
Needs to be a strong mover and pick up the style of the era.
Driving an advantage.

Mezzo. Vocal range G3-Eb5
Black/Mixed Race/Black African American
